Purpose of the association
The Davia Association's mission is:
- The restoration, preservation and safeguarding of the Davia, a vessel of heritage interest built in 1929, and of other classic and historic boats.
- The preparation and organisation of cultural activities relating to boats that took part in military operations during the Second World War.
- Participation in commemorations and events relating to maritime history.
- The sailing, maintenance and upkeep of these boats.
- The promotion of nautical, river and regional activity.
